“We had a great experience with Mammoth and would highly recommend them. We used Mammoth for design & construction for a full renovation of a 2-bed 2-bath post-war Manhattan apartment. We didn’t go down to studs, but we did basically everything else: both bathrooms, kitchen, closets, lighting, floors, and wall finishes. This was our first home purchase and our first time doing a renovation project of any type. Maryana was thoughtful about incorporating our unclear and conflicting design thoughts into a coherent vision. The design was done within the timeline that she provided. We were happy with the plan, and the end result came out even better than we hoped. Construction was finished and our move-in date was ON TIME: 14 weeks for a full gut reno! We were very pleased with that. There were a few odds and ends to clean up after we moved in, but nothing that made it difficult to get settled. During the construction process, Jess made a great impression on our super and neighbors. She and Maryana communicated clearly and frequently about possible issues throughout the process. The overall cost came in higher than we initially budgeted, but communication on that front was very clear as well. Individual aspects of the project generally all hit Jess’s detailed line-item quotes; we just kept expanding the scope to upgrade finishes. We feel like we got what we paid for in quality and attention to detail of the final outcome.”

“I was probably on the lower end of Maryana’s clients in terms of available budget for the redesign and renovation of my apartment interior, but she was very creative and gave my living space exactly the feel that I was looking for. I wanted things to feel far less cluttered and I needed space to both work from home and for my music (playing and production). The overall design has a brightness and lightness to it that gives the space a very relaxing and spacious feel (even if my apartment is a little less than 600 square feet). I loved the creative use of plexiglass for all of my table top surfaces. Shout out to the carpenters (B’capri interiors) that she chose too that made my new space a reality.
